I was typing my first entry in here and my browser quit on me... when I came back, the journal entry had been submitted but void of anything I had typed... Can I delete it? I'm kinda anal about these things. I'm just starting this journal I don't want this blank entry in here... Anyway, All this to say...

I've known about this site for a while now, but never took the time to really broswe through. I finally decided to get myself a username and register. By the way, my username sucks royally, m'kay? I would've normally used Bazou, but it was taken. Another alternative was Bazoo, but that was taken too. I tried a whole bunch of combinations, and they were all friggen' taken!!! So I ended up with this, which is the title to my journal on some other Forum. Don't ask where it comes from, long story...

So here's the deal, people.

30 years old. Born and raised in this wonderful city we call Montreal. Artist since before I was born, but never thinking I would make it more than a hobby. Studied in science, my career choices ranged from biochemistry to archeology, from architecture to psychology. I eventually get a job in an advertising agency as a media coordinator and discover the world of graphic arts and multimedia, which trigger my interest. At this point, a series of events in my oh-so turbulent life force me to face reality.

Being an artist is not a career choice, it's who you are.

So here I am.

I am in the process of starting up my business as a freelance graphic/web designer & illustrator, but quite frankly, that is to pay the bills until I can get my name out exploring my true passions: painting, photography, and music.

I am 100% self taught in everything. I may lack certain technical skills in certain aspects, but everything else just oozes out of me. And I learn as I explore and pick up skill as I go along.

I see the world in frames. I hear music in split ear, and layered tracks.

I will be posting some of my art later, once I'm done browsing the site and figuring out how all the bells and whisltes work.

Let the fun begin.
